As of April 25, 2025, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) is trading at ₹2,291.78, which is a 0.58% decrease for the day. On April 24, the stock dropped 4%, closing at ₹2,325.25. The stock has been going down because of weak demand for some of its products, especially food and personal care items. HUL’s results for the fourth quarter of FY2025 showed a slight drop in profit. The net profit was ₹2,464 crore, which is 3.7% less than the same quarter last year. The company’s revenue for the quarter was ₹15,214 crore, which is a 2.4% increase compared to last year. They also declared a final dividend of ₹24 per share, making the total dividend for the year ₹53 per share. The company has been facing higher costs for ingredients like palm oil and tea, which has hurt their profits. Despite this, analysts say the long-term outlook for HUL is still positive because of its strong brands and market presence. However, HUL’s stock is currently down about 23% from its highest price last year. Investors are cautious because of the higher costs and weak demand, but HUL is trying to grow by focusing on selling more products and introducing new ones. Analysts suggest that HUL’s stock may recover over time, but investors should be careful in the short term due to the current challenges.
